It is, however, very cool - here is a sample of a word cloud created in Wordle. The creator must have been comparing presidential candidates McCain and David Letterman ;-)
What I suggest you do for fun, if you want to check out Wordle is click on the link in this blog to your latest entry and simply copy the URL. Wordle will pull the text and 'word cloud' it for you - you can then change font styles, background colors, etc. Here's what the create screen will look like if you decide to do that:

AGH! I was hoping nobody would find this! The presentation I submitted this week contains a very special (secret) wordle. I really like this fun tool. I just made wordles yesterday from the complete text of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and of "Walden." (They are in the public domain, and so you can get full text--I did not spend yesterday typing them!)
I love Wordle. I use it to make word clouds for the titles of my bulletin boards. I have each student submit a word about the project we're working on I make them into a class cloud. Cool tool.
