I read the previous blog on vodcasts with interest as I have never heard of a vodcast. I then went out to my favorite source of podcasts, http://www.pbs.org/podcasts/%20,%20and, and found that they indeed ha
d a vodcast among their podcasts. It was a science vodcast on Alzheimer’s and this short, 12 ½ minute vodcast was very interesting and an exciting new way of bringing interesting content to teachers and students.Pbs.org is one of my favorite sites for podcasts (although I don’t do many, most podc
asts I download are from this site). Some of my favorite podcasts are Frontline, which takes you around the world for various stories,
Nova, which is a science series on such topics as tornados, forensics, and mummies, and P.O.V., which stands for Point of View are personal, independent films on varied subjects.I really enjoy reading everyone’s blog on the Online Course Design Blog and I am finding out so many interesting things that I never even heard of! I start to write my blog at 3:00 and at 9:00 I am finally writing it after reading all the posts!
P.S. Microsoft Word has to add vodcasts to its’ dictionary as it kept wanting to change it to podcasts! ;-)
