The Evolving World of Web 2.0

There was a day when I felt like I was on top of the latest, newest, and trendiest tools found on the web. However, the explosions of new tools, especially Web 2.0 tools, lead me to believe that is impossible for one person to know and use all of the options made available to us.

So, I decided it was time to begin the process of finding Web 2.0 tools that will meet my needs and desires without taking too much time. As a result, I found GO2WEB2.0 (http://www.go2web20.net/). This site allowed me to discover the tools based upon a tag of my choice. For example, I chose "Travel" and within a few seconds I had a result of 47 web 2.0 tools relating to travel. When I chose "Mindmap," I was provided with 13 choices to preview. Thankfully, this site allows me to conduct a search and immediately find a variety of new tools that directly relate to my needs and desires.

This is a site that I have used in the past and I have a love/hate relationship with it. There really are a lot of things there, and it is fun to browse, but I think it is a nightmare in terms of organization. I didn't feel the searching options were anywhere near adequate, but did like the option you mentioned to narrow to similar selections.
