Benefits of eLearning for the K-12 Classroom

I found an awesome blog that supports eLearning in the K-12 classroom.

Jeff Felix, a Superintendent of Coronado Unified School District (near San Diego) has been researching the phenomenon of Blogging in the K-12 classroom.

I wanted to share some of his findings during his research and how students can benefit from these eLearning tools.

During Mr. Felix’s research, he has discovered that students who write Blogs or Wiki’s write for a variety of reasons; the biggest benefits to this writing is that they are communicating and are motivated to write. This motivation helps them get involved with school work and helps them document their thoughts.

Another great benefit is that their writing skills are improving and they are having fun learning.
